Kerala Travel Itinerary

Discover the beauty of Kerala, a state located on the southwestern coast of India. Known for its palm-lined beaches, backwaters, and network of canals, Kerala offers a perfect blend of nature and culture. I planned a 3 day 2 Nights Kerala Trip and we start at Kozhikonde.

Day 1

Morning - Kozhikonde Beach

Start your day with a visit to Kozhikonde Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Kerala. Take a stroll along the sandy shore, watch the fishermen at work, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the Arabian Sea.

Afternoon - Thusharagiri Waterfalls

After lunch, head to the Thusharagiri Waterfalls, located in the Western Ghats. The waterfalls are surrounded by lush greenery, making it a perfect spot for nature lovers. You can also go trekking and camping in the nearby forest.

Evening - Kappad Beach

End your day with a visit to Kappad Beach, where Vasco da Gama landed in 1498. The beach is surrounded by coconut trees and offers a beautiful sunset view. You can also take a boat ride in the nearby backwaters.

Day 2

Morning - Athirappilly Waterfalls

Start your day with a visit to Athirappilly Waterfalls, one of the largest waterfalls in Kerala. The waterfall is located in the Sholayar Range and is surrounded by dense forest. You can also take a bath in the pool beneath the waterfall.

Afternoon - Munnar Tea Plantations

After lunch, head to Munnar, a town located in the Western Ghats. Visit the tea plantations and learn about the tea-making process. You can also go for a trek in the nearby hills and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region.

Evening - Eravikulam National Park

End your day with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, located in the Western Ghats. The park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. You can also go for a nature walk in the park.

Morning - Alleppey Backwaters
